 ean Detheux as he saw the potential of \"animation\" as a continuation
  of his work as a painter when viewing the works of Mary Ellen Bute ma
 ny years ago. Bute had been in contact (and worked) with Léon Theremi
 n, no doubt seeing the connections between her approach to film and Th
 eremin's approach to music.\nThis will be Detheux's first opportunity 
 to work in collaboration with an instrument that played a significant
